The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of John Buchinger can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: So sorry to hear about the passing of John.He was a great father and father figure to me growing up in Copake Falls. I spent many a summer hanging out at the Buchingers House. Such great memories. He was my little league coach and later my boss at K and E. My deepest condolences to Lisa, John, Scott, Glen and the rest of the family.

Condolence: John was the sweetest man. Every morning he came in saying "lady how is today going"? He loved French roast coffee and would pick on me if the air pot was empty saying I drank it all but would wait patiently as I brewed a fresh pot for him. As he waited we would just sit there and chat about anything his dogs, my son, the weather and he would pick on me if I had to do cycle counts telling me to quite the machine I have to use. I will miss our chats and his smiling face and him picking on me! I am sorry for your loss he was a great man!

Condolence: A selfless man taken from us too soon. Our Father in Heaven must have needed Dad's helping hand, after watching his many years of service to his family, friends, & community. As heavy hearts remain, Dad be proud that all of your children & grandchildren are strong because of you. Dawn
