Harry R. Playford, 48, of Post Street, Kingston, NY died Tuesday, October 18th, 2016 at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus.

Harry was born in Kingston, New York on December 9th, 1967, a son of Linda Lou (Banks) Playford of Guilderland, NY and the late Roscoe Playford, Sr.

A self-employed landscaper in the Kingston area, he was previously employed with Numrich Gunparts for over 9 years.

Harry was well known as a funny guy who loved to travel with and cook for his family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting and loved his dear Lhasa Apso's "Taz" and "Baby Angel"

In addition to his mother, he is survived by one sister, Linda Marie Playford of North Carolina, and one brother, Kirk D. Playford, and his companion Gail Chase, of Sharon Springs, NY. He is predeceased by a brother, Roscoe Playford, Jr. and his aunt Marie Hendricks.

The family has entrusted the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, Town of Esopus, with the care and graveside funeral arrangements for Harry.

There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm on Wednesday, October 26th, 2016 in Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston, NY.
