Justine M. "Tina" Dean, 60, of Hardenburgh Rd, Ulster Park, died Thursday, Sept 7th, 2017 at home.
She was born in Kingston, NY on July 24th, 1957, a daughter of Mary Ann (Haber) Decker and the late Howard Kelly.
Tina truly enjoyed her employment with Taconic DDSO as a direct care aide for the mentally and physically challenged adults. She loved to cook and read, but most of all loved and adored her two grandchildren, Caroline Faye Dean and Evelyn Katey Dean. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Esopus where her husband of 38 years, Timothy J. Dean serves as deacon.
In addition to her husband Deacon Tim and two grandchildren, she is survived by four children, Aubrey B. Dean, and her companion Lance Meyer, of Ruby, Jarrod T. Dean, and his wife Kelly, of Medway, Mass., Hannah K. Long, and her husband Jayson, of Kingston, and Isaiah Dean of Ulster Park, four siblings, Michael Kelly, and his wife Elizabeth, of St. Remy, Richard Kelly of Rosendale, Maureen Kelly of Saugerties, and Mary Ellen Burham, and her husband Timothy, of Kingston. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. She also leaves behind her beloved canine "Bubba".
She is predeceased by a sister Kathryn Foster.
The Dean family will receive friends on Tuesday, Sept. 12th, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, Town of Esopus.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am Wednesday at Sacred Heart Church, 1055 Broadway, Esopus, Rev. Eugene J. Grohe, celebrant. Cremation at Wiltwyck Crematory will be private at a later date.
