Sara M.  Hart
Sara Mae Hart, 82, Broadway Port Ewen, formerly of Mechanicsville, NY, passed away while in the comforting presence of her family on Tuesday, July 18th, 2017 at Health Alliance Hospital, Broadway Campus.

Sara was born in Eddyville, NY on June 7th 1935, a daughter to the late James and Mildred "Tillie" (Connor) Folwell.

Sara was employed for over 47 years as head transportation secretary for Trailways. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great-granddaughter and "Honey Bunny" Lily. She was always all about her family.

She is survived by daughters, Sharon McDonald and her husband Joe of Warner Robins, GA, and Denise Wiley and her husband Charles H. "Chuck" Wiley of Connelly; one sister, Lois "Cookie" Avery and her husband Chief of Connelly; two brothers, Frederick Folwell of Kingston, and Ronald Meyer and his wife Kathy of Florida; grandchildren, Rebecca Kelley and her husband Justin, Britney Blauvelt and her husband Gerrit, Eric Heins Jr., Edmond McDonald, Brianna Wiley, and Christian Wiley; and six great-grandchildren, Keleigh Shurley, Aaron and Mickayla Cochoran, Aydenn and Ethan Heins, and LilyAnn Blauvelt. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive as well as the many other kids she was always "Grammie" to.

She is predeceased by husbands, James Henry Hart and Ralph wells.

A service will be held 9:00AM on Saturday at the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, Town of Esopus, Paul Brennan, celebrant. Burial will follow the service at Albany Rural Cemetery at 12 noon.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00PM to 7:00PM.
