Obituary for Brandon Tyler DeBold

Brandon Tyler  DeBold
Brandon Tyler DeBold, 32, died suddenly on Tuesday, April 4th, 2017 in his hometown of Poughkeepsie.

He was born in Bristol, Tennessee on October 30th, 1984, a son of Donald DeBold of Lake Katrine, and Robin Cole, and her husband Tim, of Bristol, TN.

Brandon was employed as a forklift operator for various local businesses, most recently for Home Depot in Poughkeepsie.

He loved the outdoors where he enjoyed hiking, snowboarding and riding sport motorcycles. He was certified in body piercing and appreciated the art of tattoos, and liked drawing and writing poetry. Brandon loved dogs of all breeds. A parishioner of Mt. Carmel Church in Poughkeepsie, he enjoyed all sports and was a member Highland Little League and CYO Basketball.

In addition to his parents, he is also survived by his children, Wyatt Blondin of Peru, IN, and Aiden Russo of Marlborough, NY, two brothers, Evan DeBold of New Paltz and Ryan DeBold of Kingston, maternal grandparents, Helen Pless of Lagrangeville, and Bobby and Barbara Carr of Bristol, TN, and paternal grandmother, Joan Chiolinos of Ulster Park. Many aunts, uncles and cousins survive.

Cremation held at Wiltwyck Crematory.

Memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Tuesday, April 11th, 2017 at the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, Town of Esopus. A memorial service to celebrate Brandon’s life will begin 4:00 pm following visitation.
