Obituary for Francis Baumgaertner
Francis Baumgaertner, 80, of Rogers Street, Ulster Park, died Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Westchester Medical Center.
Francis was born in New York City on December 28th, 1936, a son of the late Frank and Ann (Kaminski) Baumgaertner.
He was employed in production for over 5 years at Gateway Industries in Kingston. He then attended ARC on Cornell St, Kingston, a program he enjoyed attending 5 days a week. Francis made many friends and was a pleasure to be around. Always a kind-hearted gentleman, he had a great sense of humor and looked forward to seeing the staff and his friends every day.
Francis is survived by a brother Donald of NYC, and his caregivers, Marietta and Gary Wells of Ulster Park. He will definitely be missed by family and all who were lucky enough to have known him.
Friends will be received at the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, Town of Esopus on Friday, March 31, 2017 from 10 am to 11 am. The funeral service will held at 11am Friday at the funeral home, the Rev. Carl D. Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow at Montrepose Cemetery.
