Obituary for Hanna Condiff
Hanna Condiff, 94, of Commons Drive, Lake Katrine, formerly of Esopus, passed away Thursday evening, October 20th, 2016 at Ten Broeck Commons.
She was born in Breslau, Germany on July 31, 1922, a daughter of the late Georg and Martha Moese. She was employed as a manager in the food service industry for many years.
She was a devoted mom and grandmom of eight grandchildren, who were the "apples of her eye." She enjoyed travel, visiting many continents throughout her lifetime.
She is survived by two sons, U. Peter Weitze, and his wife Kathy, of Esopus, and Eberhard "Eric" Weitze of Skillman, New Jersey, and eight grandchildren, James, Robert, Erica, Scott, Jason, Rudy, Jack, and Marc Weitze.
She is predeceased by her brother, Horst Moese.
The Weitze family will receive friends at the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, Town of Esopus, Sunday, October 23rd from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
The funeral service will then begin at 4:00 pm, Fr. Eugene J. Grohe, C.Ss.R, celebrant.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in memory of Hanna to a charity of your choice, or to the:
