Geraldine V. Tomaseski, 96, of Lucas Ave., Kingston passed away Friday evening, October 7, 2016 at Ten Broeck Commons, Lake Katrine.

She was born in Kingston, NY on July 2, 1920, a daughter of the late Aloysius and Maude (Long) Donnelly.

Geraldine was employed with Hercules Powder Plant, Port Ewen, and also operated a daycare center from her residence for many years. She loved children and was an avid reader.

Survivors include her son, Frank Tomaseski of Kingston, her children, Lori Celuch, and her husband Scott, of Ulster Park, and Francis Donnelly, and his companion Deb, of Kingston, two brothers, Frank Donnelly of Lake Katrine, and Al Donnelly of Kingston, and two sisters, Marylou Kellerman of Austin, TX, and Mildred Abdellah of Kingston.

She is predeceased by her husband, Frank J. Tomaseski, brothers, Ken, Jack, Ralph, and Bernard Donnelly, and a sister, Lorraine Kellerman.

Friends and family will be received from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October 11th, at the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, Town of Esopus.

The funeral procession will form 10:00 am on Wednesday, October 12th, from the funeral home, thence to St. Mary's Church where The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
