Doris E.  Shultis
Doris E. (Terns) Shultis of Lindorf St, Ulster Park passed away peacefully Thursday, August 18th, 2016 at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus surrounded by her loving family.

Doris was born in Kingston, New York, a daughter of the late Russell and Minna (Marks) Terns.

She was employed as an office secretary for both the Kingston High School and Temple Emanuel for over 50 years. She was previously employed by Central Hudson, and JC Penney Catalog Dept. in uptown Kingston. She was an avid reader, had a great love of music, and was a member of the Sweet Adeline Singing Group.

She is survived by one daughter Jeanine Foster, and her husband Gary of Ulster Park, two sons, Pete Shultis, and his wife Cathie, of West Shokan, and Russell Shultis of Ulster Park, and one grandson, Kyle Foster of North Grafton, MA.

Doris is predeceased by her husband of 60 years, James A. Shultis, who died April 18, 2015.

The family has entrusted the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, Town of Esopus, with the care and cremation service arrangements for Doris. Cremation was held at Wiltwyck Crematory.

The Shultis family will receive friends during memorial visitation at the funeral home from 10:00 am to 11:30 am on Saturday, August 27, 2016. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11:30 am, Pastor Justin Johnson will officiate. Inurnment will follow at the family plot at Hurley Cemetery.
