Michelle L. "Shell"  McCloskey
Michelle L. "Shell" McCloskey, 60, of Purvis St, Kingston passed away Sunday, July 17th, 2016 at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus.

Michelle was born in Kingston, NY on July 21st, 1955, a daughter of Marlene (Coughlin) McCloskey and the late Francis J. McCloskey.

She was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant at HealthAlliance Hospital, Broadway Campus for more than 7 years. She was previously employed by Shop Rite Pharmacy, Kingston. She was a major sports fan, and loyal to the NY Yankees and 49er's.

She is survived by her daughter Rogina (Neglia) Jurkowski, and her companion Kyle Jubie, both of Ulster Park, her son, Salvatore Neglia, and his wife Mercedes, of Catskill, and their father, Michael S. Neglia of Saugerties, her niece, Kaci McCloskey, and her companion Michael Wolff, of Kingston, two sisters, Marianne McCloskey-Mack, and Kathleen Bloodgood, both of VA, two brothers, Bo McCloskey of Kingston and Jerry McCloskey of VA, and two grandchildren, Zakary "Tinyman" Jurkowski and Liliana Neglia. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

The family has entrusted the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, with the care and funeral arrangements for Shell.

The funeral service will be held 7:00 pm, Thursday at the funeral home, Rev Robert J. Bubel, celebrant.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, prior to service, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Cremation will be held privately at Wiltwyck Crematory at a later date.

In lieu of fresh flowers, the family suggests indoor plants for loved ones to take home and nurture in memory of Shell,
