Obituary for James Mark "Pork Chop" Schleede

James Mark "Pork Chop" Schleede, 54, of Broadway, Port Ewen passed away Monday, June 13th, 2016 at home.

He was born in Kingston, NY on November 3rd, 1961, a son of the late Paul and Marie (Steinmiller) Schleede.

A coin collector, he was employed as a cook in various Kingston area restaurants, including Holiday Inn (where he learned his trade), Roudigans, and Red Lobster.

He is survived by three brothers, Paul, Martin and David Schleede, all of Kingston, two aunts, Carol Steinmiller of Kingston, and Edna Schleede of Florida. Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

The family has entrusted the staff of the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, with the care and cremation service arrangements for James.

There are no calling hours or service. Cremation held at Wiltwyck Crematory.
