Devin Joseph "Juddy"  Judware
With incredible emptiness and severe heartache we announce the passing of our Devin "Juddy" Judware, at a young age of 20. Juddy passed away at home on Green Street, Port Ewen, Saturday evening, June 11, 2016, losing an immense struggle with an addiction to drugs.

Juddy was born in Kingston, NY on October 9th, 1995, the son of Bridgette A. (Ferraro) Quick of Port Ewen.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Taylor Judware of Port Ewen, his maternal grandmother, Betty Ferraro of Kingston, three Aunts Donna Dubois (Warren) of Kingston, Kathy Poirer of Kingston, and Tammy Vardy (Mark) of Cairo, and his cat "Mittens" who he adored.

He is predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Frank Ferraro, two uncles and an aunt, and his dear friend Derek J. Wood.

Juddy enjoyed working on cars, yard work and landscaping, and most of all, he loved being with his friends.

Friends will be received from 4 pm to 7 pm, Thursday at the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, www.GVVFH.com . A graveside service will be held 12 noon, Friday at St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery, Saugerties. There is no procession to the cemetery.

From the family: "We join the growing number of families experiencing similar heartache over losing their loved one as a consequence to drug addiction. Please reach out and help others that you may know who are fighting addiction. Guide them to the help they require before it is too late."
